DAY 1 – AIRPORT/DAMBULLA

Upon arrival, you will be met and greeted by your chauffeur/guide from Barefoot Lanka Holidays. You will then be transferred to your chosen accommodation in Dambulla. Rest and recover after your flight preparing for the amazing journey ahead.

DAY 2 – DAMBULLA/PASSIKUDAH

After breakfast, transfer to Passikudah. En route, visit the Minneriya National Park. Hop on a Jeep and embark on an exciting wildlife safari to witness the largest wild elephant gathering in Sri Lanka. Proceed to Passikudah. Passikudah Beach is one of Sri Lanka’s most pristine beaches.
Sip on a cocktail and soak up the sun on this beautiful secluded beach.

DAY 3 – PASSIKUDAH

Full day of relaxation at this beautiful secluded beach.
Indulge in delicious seafood and enjoy a relaxing herbal massage.

DAY 4 - PASSIKUDAH

Spend the entire day at leisure.

DAY 5 – PASSIKUDAH/SIGIRIYA

After breakfast transfer to Sigiriya. Evening, climb the Lion’s Rock fortress of Sigiriya. Built by the ancient King Kashyapa, the Palace at the top of the rock is a feat of impressive ancient engineering and 5th century urban planning. The jaw dropping panoramic views from the top makes it all worth the climb. You will then have lunch and return to the Hotel to spend the rest of the day leisurely.

DAY 6 – SIGIRIYA/KANDY

After breakfast, transfer to Kandy. En route, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple. The cave temple complex consists of five major caves which contain statues and paintings related to Gautama Buddha. After visiting the temple, you will proceed to Kandy. En route, visit a spice garden in Matale for a demonstration of Sri Lankan spices and enjoy a delicious traditional lunch. Proceed to Kandy. In the evening, visit the Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha) and witness a cultural show performed by colourful traditional dancers.

DAY 7 – KANDY/AIRPORT

Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport – End of Tour.
